The November 28, 2005 issue of New York magazine has an eye-opening article entitled “Cracking the Kindergarten Code”. It is actually a set of guidelines for getting your child admitted into the private kindergarten of your choice. Apparently this is not an easy task or something that should be taken lightly. The competition is stiff and the stakes are high.
