According to the cover story in the Dec. 18, 2006 issue of TIME, curriculum in American schools needs to change it’s focus if we want our children to advance in the global economy. Schools need to start stressing the importance of  learning a second language and put more emphasis on World Cultures.

The December 4, 2006 issue of TIME magazine has an interesting article about school desegregation. “When Public Schools Aren’t Color Blind “discusses the Louisville public school system’s practice of keeping the African American student population between 15-50%.
