All Keystone College students and their families are invited to attend this unique workshop where financial aid professionals will walk you through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) process and actually assist you in submitting your FAFSA form.

Please register with the Office of Financial Assistance and Planning no later than February 23 at 1-877–4 COLLEGE, option 2.

You will need your 4 digit pin if you are a returning student, if you have lost or can not remember your pin please visit www.pin.ed.gov.

5 October 2011 - 13:17PHEAA REMINDER!!!!!

To all PA residents:

Please remember that the Pennsylvania State Grant Program requires any student eligible for the grant and is enrolled in online classes to keep their ratio of online to in class courses, 50/50. Example: You are enrolled in 12 credits, 6 of those could be online. If you enrolled in more than 6 you will lose the grant for that semester.

Welcome to the 2011-2012 School Year!! 

 The financial aid office has been quite busy getting you all ready to start the semester and moving into our new digs! If you haven’t already, stop by and check it out, 1st floor of Ward Hall.  You will also find Student Business Services and the Registrar’s Office. It’s like a one stop shop to make things a little easier on you all.  :)

 As always, if you have any questions regarding your aid please feel free to call us or stop on in, we will be more than happy to help!

www.studentloans.gov (If you or your parent have not completed their Master Promissory Notes, you need to visit this website ASAP!)

www.aessuccess.org (If your having an issue with your State Grant not being on your finanicial aid package, please make sure that you have completed your status notice. This website will get you there.)

Welcome back for your spring semester. Although your focus is on classes right now– it is time to be planning for next year and how you will finance your Keystone education. We want to make sure you have plenty of time to take care of necessary items and help you along the way.
Get started now, in order to be ready for the start of Fall 2011 school year.
1.       Renew your Federal Pin at www.pin.ed.gov
2.       Complete your 2011-2012 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov
3.       Pennsylvania students must file their FAFSA by May 1, 2011

Hope everyone enjoyed their break, now it’s time to get back to all that learning!

 

Post cards were mailed out over winter break reminding students that it is time to renew your FAFSA, if you plan on returning to school for the fall term.  If you need help with the FAFSA please contact the Financial Assistance and Planning Office at 570-945-8132 to set up an appointment.

 

Pennsylvania residents that have an incomplete state grant application have to March 31st to submit any corrections. If you are unsure on whether or not you need to submit any corrections please log into your account at AES.success.org.

 

As always the Financial Assistance and Planning office is available to answer any questions or to assistance you in completing any financial aid documents.

It’s everyone’s favorite time of year….FAFSA renewal time!! All students need to be renewing their federal pins in preparation for filing your new 11-12 FAFSA beginning January 1st.  The website to renew your pin is www.pin.ed.gov and to renew your FAFSA it is www.fafsa.ed.gov.

(If you are returning for fall 2011 you will need to complete another FAFSA for that year.)

 Also there are still some students missing Direct Loan Master Promissory Notes and Entrance Loan Counseling. If you are unsure as to whether or not you have completed these item please visit www.studentloans.gov or contact the financial aid office.
