Today was a hoot!  Started out early with Joyce, susan and Kim to get tickets and stand in line, hoping to purchase tickets for the ferry that would take us tot he island of Culebra.  We arrived shortly after six in the morning and waited for about two hours, but learned that the ferry was full.  It was awesome.  The line of people waiting went around the block, then on to somewhere we could not see.  We bought food from a vendor on the street and ate while we took turns keeping our place in line.

Once we learned that weren’t going to Culebra today, we mustered and decide that we would divide into small groups and do different things.  Some went shopping, some returned to Yunque, and some of us went horsebackriding.  This was the highlight of my trip so far. Being the country gal that I am, I wanted to know about the hay, when they make it, what kinds of grass are in it, how much a horse costs on the island etc.  Got to use Spanish a lot and I loved it!
Several of us hung out on the beach, then we all attended a pizza party in the penthouse with Joyce, Dorothy, Susan and Shirley.  They prepared some good stuff for everyone and it was nice to just sit and mingle.  Nice to have time to relax today and it was so much easier to navigate with the small groups we broke down into.  Going to bed early!
